Our local newspaper, Seguin Gazette, ran an article yesterday detailing my story and journey to Moscow.

They would like to do a follow up story sometime after I return.
Alicia and I had a radio interview earlier this week. We are being told that it should air in a day or two. It is very heartening to see and hear the interest that people have in hearing my story. My impression on this is that everyone seems to love to hear a story of hope and inspiration. Guess it is amplified because a chronic disease like MS generally is not thought of as having any hope, only despair.
It would be so rewarding if I can give hope and inspire people who have lost hope. Who knows, maybe this is my calling in life.
We are having another BBQ fundraiser this coming Sunday at TLU. We will start serving plates at 11am and finish at 2 pm. We are very grateful to have two very good and talented chefs manning the grills. Come out and enjoy a great plate of BBQ. Heck they are only $10 a plate and you would be helping a great cause.
