Glad that you stopped by to read my blog. My name is Ken Olson. I am a 54 year old guy with a wonderful wife, three sons, two stepsons, one stepdaughter, and two very adorable grandsons. Totally love to play with them. My wife is Alicia and my children are Cameron, Andy, and Alex. The stepchildren are Kyle, Brent,and Tamara. The little guys are Mike and Nick. (did I tell you yet how much I love these guys?) We are dog lovers, hence the picture of a boxer. Our dogs are members of the family so I should include them. Currently we have two boxers, one male and one female. The pack is rounded out with two male Yorkies. They each have their own distinct personality and character. They crack me up quite often and I love them very much. We live in beautiful McQueeney Texas and love the community a lot.

Grew up in the upper Midwest in a small quaint resort called Bemidji, Minnesota. It is the hometown of the great Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. Still love spending time up there visiting family and friends. Alicia and I would love to spend our retirement summers up there while spending the rest of the year in our McQueeney home. Bemidji is an outdoor persons paradise in our opinion. We love the fishing and golfing that the area has to offer. It is very serene and beautiful. (I can hear the loons calling right now)

Graduated from Texas Lutheran University. Earned a BBA with a specialization in Accounting. This skill has enabled me to open a wealth management company in Seguin, Texas. My oldest son, Cameron, works with me. It is very gratifying to help people in the manner that we do. We work with mainly retirees and pre retirees. As planners we help people through their years where they may be vulnerable to adverse financial situations. It is very, very rewarding work that I thoroughly enjoy and would love to provide this service to our clients for many more years.

Hobbies

Have always been an outdoor kinda guy. Serenity of the outdoors really rejuvenates me and is very effective in recharging my batteries. Fishing, golfing, hunting, camping, and gardening are some of my favorite outdoor activities that I enjoy. One of my true passions is cooking, which is of course an indoor activity. However, I also parlay cooking into grilling and smoking food outdoors as well. Ha! My wife and I make a great team in cooking up new dishes. We are always on the prowl for new flavors and dishes that we haven't cooked yet. It is tons of fun.

As a financial planner I am always reading, studying, and keeping up with the markets. My accounting background assists me in poring over financial statements of companies. I am always looking for a good investment.
